WHO WE SERVE

If your company runs commercial vehicles, DOT applies. We’re built for you.

Any vehicle or combination rated at 10,001 pounds or more and used in interstate commerce is a commercial motor vehicle. That’s a lot more companies than most people think.

Construction

Your safety director handles OSHA. Who handles DOT?

Dump trucks, service trucks, lowboys, and pickups towing equipment trailers are commercial motor vehicles. DOT is a different rulebook from the job site: driver files, hours, drug and alcohol testing for CDL drivers, inspections, and registrations. Your safety director is already running three job sites. We work alongside them.

Did you know? A pickup towing a heavy trailer can push the combination into CDL weight. Your team gives drivers a “keep under” number before that happens.

Utilities and energy

DOT shouldn’t be everybody’s side task.

Bucket trucks, digger derricks, service rigs, and water trucks run long days and storm response. Your safety leaders belong with the crews. We take the daily DOT work: every driving event, every driver file, every inspection record, and every renewal date.

Did you know? Utility service vehicles are exempt from hours-of-service limits and logs, but contractors and vehicles that work outside the service area may not be. We check which of your trucks qualify, and read the logs of the ones that don’t.

Any business with commercial vehicles

If it’s over 10,000 pounds, the rules apply. The work is the same at one truck as at fifty. Only the volume changes.

For-hire carriers

Run loads. Get paid. Go home.

Every driver’s logs, every driver file, and every filing, from IFTA to IRP to UCR. With Core + Operations, your Compliance Admin also gets every load’s paperwork right for factoring (the signed bill of lading, the rate confirmation, anything missing), so you’re paid in full and fast.

Did you know? One unsigned bill of lading can hold up a factoring payment. Your team checks each one as it comes in.

New carriers and owner-operators

Your DOT number is a license to operate. It is not an operation.

Within your first 12 months, FMCSA runs a new entrant safety audit. The habits you build now are the ones that show up then. You deserve the same team the big carriers have, even with one truck.

And for my owner-operators: you know you need us. Stop trying to be everything in your business.

Who we don’t serve

Passenger carriers, hazmat carriers, and companies outside the lower 48 states. We’d rather tell you now than after a phone call.
